A short introduction
Companies can search for tenders using After clicking the "BekanntmachungenRegistrierung" module of the "Vergabemarktplatz." The 20 most recent publications can be found on the start page.
There are various ways to find fitting public tenders published on the "Vergabemarktplatz." Companies can either browse through the vairous categories, use a quick key word search or an advanced seach funtionality. The latter enables the user to filter all publictions by type, location and other specifics.
The easiest way to find interesting tenders for your company is to use the "Benachrichtigungsdienst" (information service). After defining a personalized "Suchprofil" (search profile), the user can choose to be informed about new publictaions via e-mail. In case of publications matching the companies search criteria, these e-mails are automatically sent by the "Vergabemarktplatz" on a daily basis.
The search profiles used for this service also help to easily identify publications after logging in to the "Vergabemarktplatz" as the most recent publications fitting the companies criteria are displayed on the starting page. And to get the most out of this feature, users are enabled to define a limitless number of search profiles, ensuring an easy research of new publications.
After finding an interesting tender, the company can the tendering authority to grant access to all further data ("Freischaltungsantrag"). The tenders are then handled in so called "Projekträumen" (project spaces) where tender files can be downloaded, companies can communicate with the authorities or even submit electronic offers.
In addtion to public tenders, public authorities can also invite suitable companies to take part in restricted procedures ("Einladung"). After accepting an invitation, the procedure within the project spaces does not deviate from the handling of public tenders.
Having access to a project space does not place any obligation upon the the company to actively take part in the tendering process. In case a company wants to submit an offer, it can use the free of charge "Bietertool."

On the first page information about the registration process is provided. All that is necessary is to follow these three quick steps:
- Fill in the registration form to provide your company and user data.
- Confirm your registration.
- Login to the "Vergabemarktplatz" and start your research for intersting tenders imidiately.
A click on the "Weiter" button will start in the process.
First of all, the company data has to provided. Please make sure to fill in all mandatory fields. They are marked asterisk. Please note that the e-mail address used in this section should usually be a common campany address (info@company.com, tenders@company.com etc.) as the address will for example be used to invite your company to a restriced tender.
Adding information about a "Präqualifizierung" (pre-qualification) of your company is not mandatory. If you do not have a pre-qualification code skip this step to continue with your registration, using the "Weiter" button. A pre-qualification is not needed to research or participate in public tenders.
Under "Branche" (branch, sector) you can select the sectors your company offers goods and/or services. Here the "Vergabemartplatz" uses the categories provided by the EU's common procurement vocabulary (CPV-Code). These categories can help shape your companies' profile for researching public authorities. Categories can be added using the "Kategorien bearbeiten" button. You can either browse the tree-like catalog or use the key word search. Please note that the "Vergabemarktplatz" only uses the german version of the CPV-code. Therefore we advise interested companies to search for the numeric code rather than key words.
Adding CPV-categories to your company profile is not mandatory to participate in public tenders. Such categories can also be added to your profile at any time after your registration is complete. To proceed to the next step in the registration process please click the "Weiter" button.
In the next step the user will be asked to provide some personal information. First name, last name, as well as an e-mail address are mandatory fields as indicated by the asterisk. This e-mail address will serve as the login. Click the "Weiter" button to continue the process.
Before finalizing the registration, you will be asked to check your provided information. Please make sure that especially the e-mail addresses are spelled correctly. Please also read and accept the terms and conditions before clicking "Registrierung abschließen."
You will automatically receive an e-mail with your login information. The first login after your registration completes the process. We strongly recommend changing the initial password after your first login. You can do so in the "Eigene Daten" section of By the way: Menu items are referred to as modules in the "Vergabemarktplatz."
